Sample Pitch Glide

I would like a way to have smooth/natural pitch bending with the samples in much the same way that GlideCV + Glide Steps works but for Samples.   The FPTC command only works effectively with really long strings of values, otherwise you hear steps if you were trying to take a pitch from C4 to C3 in less than 4 steps for example.
