FX Handling
#1
Hi All,

When you add FX to the tracks in what order is it applied, Fx1, then FX2, then 3 then 4, I assume?

Also how is it ranked in terms of the rows information, is the entire row consider before the step is played?

Cheers

R.

Yes the order is:
Patch, FX1, FX2, FX3, FX4, MOD, CV, Trigger/Gate

And all needed information is collected before the final row is being played.

The SCLK fx seems to only kick in after the pattern resets.

Would it be possible to have a pattern clock rather than a track clock, so it sets the clock rate (mult/div) for that step and subsequent ones, as I am guessing you could apply this without the need for the pattern reset, maybe have a pattern changing clocks mid pattern.

The SCLK is special and the reason that it only changes on pattern reset is that thats the only way you can stay in sync with the other patterns.
If you change it midway, you would be already in front or behind the other clocks and so out of sync.

You can apply very different dividers and multipliers with the groove columns per step. So indeed multiplying/dividing on pattern and step level is also possible.
