Ah, i answered you already directly, lets copy+paste it here:
Generally i can say that there is the big difference that the tracker has like 1 track in general (edit: i mean one pattern includes all tracks) (even though it can swap a bit in performance mode) while the NerdSEQ has tracks on it's own. And the NerdSEQ screen is too small to show more than 4 tracks with possible triggers. The tracker got of course a bigger screen, but there you also need to get into a limited view to see all the notes next to each other.
And for modular stuff it needs more then only notes / note/on and off.
You can already have 2 notes in one view if you use the MOD column also for notes. You also can simply walk through the patterns as they are on the sequencer screen (did you update to V1.22 yet?) which doesn't need the switching between screens anymore.
In general if you use polyphonic tracks (like the midi tracks or with the CV16 expander) there you also got multiple notes next to each other, but not for monophonic tracks.
And you probably don't know. There is a little trick if you make the track a Midi-Track. There you can also use CV outputs instead of Midi for the 4 notes.... You could use midi tracks then for chord things.
So 4 notes side by side in only one track is not too bad, you can use all the other tracks for the rest of your compositions
The sequencer screen is only for the sequencer arrangement where the pattern screens is the only place which can hold any notes.
I think that will probably cover most of your needs already.
