Thanks for the thoughtful response! Seems like there are several approaches to play with. I actually just ordered an A-150-8 for this use case (already have some faders/offset sources). I don't mind the extra modules (for me, more complicated is better/more fun), especially since the NS has eliminated the need for like half my existing rack!
