How to record polyphonic MIDI and clone to expanderz

Does anyone know how I can record polyphonic MIDI input (using Korg nanokey via the 2hp TRS midi expander) in a I2C/MULTI track and have the channels 1-6 pitch routed to the More CV Expander and the gates to the More Triggers expander?
I can do it using the local CV + Trigger + Mod. But I would like to use my expanders for this so I have my local outputs available for other stuff…

The More CV16 expander is not a destination for a I2C/Multi track. You would need to use a CV16 track for that. There you can choose also to use Trigger16 as the column destinations.

Midi/I2C Setup: Input Assign DIN/TRS Chn1: Track Select Rec

I can now record midi notes but the gate on/off info is not shown. (I can change a column destination to use the More Trigger 16, but how can I record the gate info in that column)

I can now record midi notes but the gate on/off info is not shown. (I can change a column destination to use the More Trigger 16, but how can I record the gate info in that column)

In the track setup you can choose the 'record voices', there you can also choose 3CV+3ENV. And the parts where it would input the envelopes normally it fills in trigger parts if the columns are triggers.

Manual page 104: Record voices
Furthermore there are the 2x2 and 3x3 record voices which allow full polyphonic note + envelope generation. Here Notes are filled in the first 2 or 3 columns and on the following 2 or 3 columns the envelopes which belong to each note are filled in.
If a column is set up to be a Trigger16 destination then Gates/Triggers will be filled in instead of the envelopes.
