when you fill the main sequencer screen past the first page, then when the song continues the sequencer doesn't scroll down, you have to manually change page...

Oh i see.
But it is the only good way. Patterns can play on different positions, which one to choose. You don’t want the screen jump away suddenly. Since this is not only one linear line for all tracks there is no good solution for that.

ah good point!
I've just been using it for linear song progression (all patterns same length) as I'm working in weird time signatures and I can't get it to be in sync properly when jumping between islands... see other thread called 'time signatures'

I find myself needing this feature also. Perhaps it could be called ‘Linear autoscroll’? Off by default, and users could just disable if project is jumping between islands.
I have color coded sections for different parts of song structure, verse, chorus, etc… but looking for a way to autoscroll so that I can use as a visual cue. Alternatively, does as FX command or equivalent work to jump to the next page in Sequencer? This would also work for my use case.
