I love my CV16 expander, you can super easily do polyphony and recording chords via a MIDI keyboard, it's a dream!
However, I did not find how to record the gate / trigger of notes ...
Example: CV16> track 1 + 2 + 3 CV recording and track 4 the trigger
But I can not. I have to record with the notes continuously and put triggers or envelopes by hand afterwards.
Currently you can only record a CV/Gate/Trigger Combination on the first 2 CV16 columns.

I'm sorry but I still come back with my question. I can't find a simple solution to trigger my polophony envelope (3CV + 1ENV) via MIDI recording or simply by putting the notes by hand.
If I send an envelope in via CV16 output 4, my traditional doepfer envelope reacts badly (for sure : an EG in a EG ) .
And I would really like not to use the Nerdseq envelope directly in my VCA because no knobs to easily change ADSR parameters.
What should I do ?: put (after recording) Trigger FX by hand for each step?
I feel that something is escaping me ... It should be easy, right?
I have attached a capture of my polyphonic patch
You can set the Midi recording -> CV16 recording to 3CV+1ENV which should definitely do the job. You only got to find the good envelope spots (fast attack, fast release with or without hold) and you should be fine triggering the EG. Depending on the sequence you want, little to no further editing should be needed.

And do you use the same thing with the new chords FX function?
Thank you for the help!
I didn't use it with the chord function. But mainly, the midi recording fills into the 6 columns and the chord plays a chord preset where selected. 2 different things (also since you can use the chords to play also notes on CV outputs which are not defined in the 6 columns)
