Tuner
#1
I ran through this whole section to see if this has not been discussed already. Sorry if I missed it.

I would like to ask if it could be possible to implement some simple tuner function.
For example to set one CV input as the tuner input so I can check and tune my oscillators.
It could be just some temporary menu pop up like nerd menu.
Not sure if it is possible by design.. just asking.

A simple tuner would be nice indeed! Not a must function, but it does help to have one.

It doesnt have to be a "tuner" detection, where you have to input signals as such, but a kind of preparation for tuning, let me explain:
the best function of that kind I've seen has the ACL Sinfonion
there you just have to press the tune button, and all outputs of this module will send out a sustained Note C. (You can switch octaves live)
Another press on the button and everything is back to normal. Its as simple as that.

If you could somehow adapt this:
- maybe project page / Tune / and on this page then you see all CV outs, sending out a note "C" by default
- you can shift octaves of the "C"s there (for bassSynths)
- a clean reference "C" is being sent out on the sample outputs (sine or square or whatever wave)
- So you can tune every external module you use to that reference "C" by ear until you get an even unisoned "C" sound (similar to what guitarists do, when tuning by ear)
this would be great, quick and no repatching needed!

I do exactly what you outline here - I have a project where a row of patterns outputs C4 - and then tune the VCOs to each other.

yes, me too, but when you are right in a project, you cant interrupt and re-load another project everytime you add an OSC, or detuned something (maybe even accidently, which happens quit fast since Eurorack is quite tiny)

What I do is have an "init" project and load that before starting anything- then use the bottom of the sequencer page in the init project for utilities like that. That way they're there in any project. Just need to remember to save every project under a different name.

Also great for stuff like storing 'standard arp tables' (0-7-C, 0-4-7. 0-3-7).

Just get the Klavis Caltrans module - sorts all this over 4 channels
