Ability to rename Track names

I use a track just for patches, one for triggers etc

You can already do this in the patterns.
Hit the NERD menu in the pattern screen and choose rename.

Ah yes, but once you rename a pattern it will show up in the sequencer screen. Something like 'modular - trigger'. So it effectively renames the track.

Would still be nice to be able to name tracks. Naming patterns is a lot of work unless you plan on not having a few patterns

Yes, the possibility to rename (name them) to whatever you want would be very useful. In my case I use the NS to compose and perform. So, although at the moment I use a notebook to remind me of what went where (i.e. a VCO, the Quadrax, Beads, etc), being able to have that hard written in the track name would be so useful .
