Edit multiple notes at once
#1
It would be awesome if it were possible to edit multiple notes (and possibly other column values) at the same time.

This could maybe be done using the "Mark" feature. When in mark mode, if only ONE COLUMN is being highlighted (such as the note column), one could mark a selection of notes and then use SHIFT + CURSOR RIGHT or LEFT to change each note selected up or down. SHIFT + CURSOR UP or DOWN could be used to change the octave of multiple notes at once too.

This would be especially useful once global scales are available, as one could transpose a selection of notes through the selected scale!

I could see this being very useful for other columns too - for instance having the ability to change multiple Trigger values, MOD values, or FX values at the same time. One would just need to make sure that when in mark mode, only one column was being marked at a time.

Please consider this as a possibility as it would be a massive time saver, especially if it were paired with the upcoming global scales feature.

This is already possible for note values: Just mark a column or part of a column, then go to the Nerd page. There you can transpose the marked area by semitones or octaves.

Would be great if this was possible for other pattern columns as well...

I just found out that transposition of notes doesn't only work in the pattern screen but also in the sequencer screen with a whole pattern or a selection of patterns. Very useful Smile

Yep, it can be done already.
I got SHIFT +UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT planned for the other request you made already. But the Nerd Menu will help you.
PLEASE use the search function if something have been asked or discussed before.
Every (unnessesary) forum support means less time to develop! But of course, i am here to help!  Smile

My bad, did not know I could do this via Nerd menu! Thanks for the clarification!
