Allow for external knob control.

A friend was just lamenting the lack of knobs on the unit, expressly for controlling values under the cursor. Seems an option could exist to associate one of the CV inputs on the unit with adjusting whatever was currently under the cursor's focus, in a "won't update till passes the current value" manner to avoid unexpected value jumps when cursoring around the screen.

Only down side I see to this is the ideal would be an endlessly turning rotary dial, but Euro CV has definite limits (-5/+5 mostly). That and the fact not every scrollable list has the same number of steps/options (so what might be ideal for one list might have too fine a resolution for another, etc).

Failing that, a dedicated expander that was just a knob would be cool. Wink

Yes this is indeed impossible with a CV voltage. It is possible (not implemented) with an encoder.
There are some midi controllers which support that, but even these differ on how they provide the needed data, so there is no standard for it.

Otherwise..stay tuned...
