I'll receive my Launchpad Pro MK3 tomorrow (if DHL tracking is accurate...). Really looking forward to try it.

As a sidenote:
In the wake of the recent german-only video session on the NerdSEQ I've re-arranged my NerdSEQ modules. It somehow had not occurred to me that I'm not forced to have the NSAs in the same row as the main module but indeed can and now have them in a neighbouring row of my case.

Got rid of some cable clutter and it feels neat

Would someone be so kind and upload simple project file where launchpad connectivity has been integrated into it in the settings. I tried step-by-step according to the manual, but could not get the signal.

There you are.
If you get no connection please check your launchpad settings (eg if the midi ports are on) and be sure that midi in goes to out and midi out goes to in.

I have original Novation cables 2 pieces and then the ones that came with 2hp midi expander module. But the 5-pin ones between I suspect one might be not functional. Would it be possible to transfer midi signal with 3.5mm trs cables as well? Would allow less connections per cable.

I think not. The Novation TRS in and outputs don't support the Midi TRS-A standard but  TRS-B. You would need an adapter for it (like the one in my shop or others)

NerdSEQ -> NerdSEQ 2hp MIDI Out -> NerdSEQ TRS-A to 5-pin MIDI -> MIDI cable -> Novation Adaptor -> LP MIDI In
and

Yes that should work.
Maybe a setting in the launchpad. Also be sure you don't use midi channel 1 in any other situation.

LP Pro must be in programmer mode.

Re LP Pro
Live mode is working fine here - default LIVE mode Midi Channel is 1
Setting Programmer mode to Channel 1 is also working.
I have set Note mode to Channel 8 and I'm using that to record notes using the TRK SELECT REC

Not sure why you're insisting on Programmer mode as the only way to use LP Pro with Nerdseq?

Anyways would be great to get UP/Down buttons working inside the patterns ;-)
