Performance mode

When finished writing, organising and programming the Nerdseq, it may be time for you to show of your skills to the world, so I have an idea that would enable the Nerdseq to become more performance orientated. 

A global option that turns the Nerdseq into Performance mode. 

In this mode we get different functions assigned to already known key combinations.

For example during performance mode, 

- On any highlighted track, SHIFT+UP transposes the track up 12 semitones, SHIFT+DOWN transposes the track down 12 semitones
- UP solos a track
- DOWN mutes a track
- Left Ratchets highlighted track 16ths
- Right Ratchets highlighted track quarter notes

And so on.... What would you like to see instantly be available to you in Performance mode?

You can turn off the edit mode which will bring you at least one additional performance tool: Jump. This uses the OK button to jump into the same spot of another pattern.

As for the other functions you mention...UP/DOWN wouldn't work as you couldn't browse the 16 steps anymore.
Left and right alone would mean that you can't browse anymore?

Just to clarify, I am totally for a performance mode (and with edit turned off it would open some doors for sure). But it must be still usable and no other functions should be missing then.
For now the launchpad does the job quite well...maybe the transpose stuff would be a nice addition.

I think my suggestions were just ideas so I think with some further thought we could come up with some agreeable actions.
