Do I have to 'Get Calibration' on every power up?  It seems that way so far.

Why? It is factory calibrated and you only touch it if you need to calibrate it.

I'm sequencing an osc - all good last night, power down and go to bed. Power up this morning and it's several octaves lower. Go to setup > get calibration and it's all fine.

I wouldn't know why 'Get Calibration' would make any difference. The NerdSEQ is not aware of any calibration setting within a expander. The Expanders handle these themselves.
And still, 'Get Calibration' doesn't change any setting and especially not something that is exactly some octaves lower.

So are you experiencing another issue? Which firmware is the expander running? Do you probably have other transpose settings within the NerdSEQ which send other notes?

Nope, no transposing. Firmware 1.0. All I did before the osc was at the right pitch was 'Get Calibration'. I was playing the same sequencer row.

It just happened again without powering off. When I go to the track setup all the calibration figures are zero.

They are always zero when you enter the menu. Thats why there is a Get Calibrate function.
But usually you never got to touch it.

Yes, more triggers and the MIDI expander.

Will give it a go thanks. There weren't any problems before I got the trigger expander so it could be that.
