  Selective multi-marked for editing
Posted by: OcttisTony - 05-01-2025, 04:23 AM - Forum: Feature requests - Replies (2)

Hello, is it possible to add selective multi-marked function? Now the marked only select continuous ranges. For example, I only want to select 3-5-9-12 steps, and then use the nerd menu or corsor key to change the values. I think this is really useful, and even further used in real-time performance. The specific method may be shift + marked to enter marked mode, shift + corsor key to do continuous marked, shift + ok to select certain blocks of the cursor movement position, just like selecting multiple items in a computer.

Regarding the clock source of the table
Posted by: OcttisTony - 04-30-2025, 01:18 PM - Forum: General Questions - Replies (4)

Regarding the clock source of the table, I have a step that will be affected by the CBPB 1xx clock. I want to synchronize the speed of the table with this step, but I find that I can't do it because the table will always only synchronize with the main clock tick. I tried using spfx 011 but it only sends a tick. How can I make the table obtain the actual clock of the pattern? Thanks

  CV and Trigger probability sync
Posted by: OcttisTony - 04-28-2025, 09:21 PM - Forum: General Questions - Replies (3)

Hi everyone, I have a question about CV and trigger probability synchronization connection, for example, I want the a new note when the trigger is active, and the note will keep the value of the previous step when the trigger is not active. I know I can use auto gate or row probability to achieve it, but the problem is that neither of them is suitable for me because I have an independent clock in each row. I thought of using patch and then FX probability, which can indeed be achieved, but it is necessary to use two rows of FX, which becomes very tense when using it. Okay, now I am wondering if it can be achieved using mapping? A new note will only be triggered when the trigger is triggered. When it is not triggered, the note will maintain the value of the previous step. But I have no idea at the moment, so my powerful friends, can you guide me?
Thank you for any help.

  About 3rd party midi port
Posted by: OcttisTony - 04-28-2025, 07:17 PM - Forum: General Questions - Replies (4)

Hi, I remember that in earlier firmware versions, I was able to connect third-party MIDI physical ports by jumpering, but after updating to the latest firmware, if I connected it, Nerdseq would get stuck on a white screen when booting up, so I would like to ask if it is now impossible to connect third-party MIDI ports? Because I don't want to waste the midi port on the back of my Intellijel 7U case.
Thank you for any help.

  Regarding copying FX columns
Posted by: OcttisTony - 04-24-2025, 03:07 AM - Forum: General Questions - Replies (3)

Regarding copying FX columns, I created 16 steps of FX in FX1, which is great, but I want to move the entire column to FX3 because I want to make sure they are at the end of the chain. Intuitively, I used marked copy to paste the entire column in FX3, but I found that it can't be pasted to a different position in the original FX slot. Is it not possible to move the FX column? Thanks for any help.

  Regarding the Row probability issue
Posted by: OcttisTony - 04-24-2025, 01:58 AM - Forum: General Questions - Replies (5)

Regarding the Row probability issue,
the situation is this:
for the current row, I have set FX1 track clock Div 2 and Fx2 prow to 0 probability, and for the next row, I have set FX1 to clock value Div 4 and Fx4 prow 64. It seems that the playback should be disabled with clock div 2, and then the next row should be played at the speed of clock div 4, right? Because the next row has been restored to active, but I found that it will still run with clock div2 until the next row, then it can respond to the track clock.
I want to know, is this the principle of Tracker?
Or do I have any settings wrong? Huh
Thank you for any help.

  CV16 Trigger Destination
Posted by: smcjr - 04-23-2025, 08:51 PM - Forum: General Questions - Replies (2)

I'm not sure if this is a question or confirmation but I am unable to generate a trigger from a CV16 output. I can set one for a local trigger (TT8 for example) but I thought I could generate a trigger from a CV16 output (TD8 on CV16 output 2 for example) but the latter does not work. Can I generate a trigger out of the CV16 itself? If so I can not figure out what I am doing wrong.

  Midi thru off.
Posted by: MatzeMillion - 04-20-2025, 12:32 AM - Forum: General Questions - No Replies

hey!

I‘m trying to use the nerdseq with a midi synth, that has no local off function. That leads to very crazy midi feedbacks sometimes.

Is there a way to disable the midi thru for a certain track?
I’d like to play on my synth and sometimes record it into a pattern and then play it back. Until I recorded something, I’d like to have no midi thru.

I’m pretty sure I just miss something. Smile

Hi Thomas,
I’m having an issue with the calibration and the soft reset isn’t working.
I’ve made some videos to show you.

Thanks.

  Cv16 mapping
Posted by: Jas1x - 04-14-2025, 09:53 PM - Forum: NerdSEQ - Replies (2)

ho Thomas

I’d like to know if it’s possible to mapping Cv16. I’d like to mapping it as an output — for example, sending an external MIDI CC (such as a value from the Digitakt) to CV16, so I can use it as a manual envelope directly from the Digitakt.

King regards
Jonas
