Multi-IO to remember selected X, Y or Z on different pages
Posted by: Airell - 06-01-2025, 12:47 PM - Forum: Feature requests - No Replies

Hi,

My wish for the Multi-IO module is to remember if X, Y or Z was selected when switching around other screens/menus. It always goes back to 'X' when you go to different screens/menus. I do switch allot between Nerd (X data entry) and the Pattern (Z - Euclid) screen to create random stuff, but I have to select 'Z' again every time when going back to the Pattern screen.

CV16 changes from modular track FX
Posted by: andisyntz - 05-25-2025, 04:03 PM - Forum: Feature requests - Replies (3)

Hello,
it would be great if you could program CV16 voltages from the 4 modular track FX columns.
Thanks Big Grin

Mapping: CV in --> ECLP not working correctly
Posted by: Momec - 05-19-2025, 07:35 AM - Forum: Beauty and less important bugs/glitches - Replies (4)

Hey! Not sure if it's a bug or if I am not understanding the function correctly.

I'd like to control the euclidean sequencer with CV in 1 and 2, using a voltage from 0-5v that I have on an attenuator.

So, I have set it up this way in the mapping screen:

CV | IN 1 | ____ - TRCK | TRK1 | ECLD
CV | IN 2 | ____ - TRCK | TRK1 | ECLP

The ECLD mapping is functioning as expected and let's me set the number of steps.

The ECLP mapping is partly functioning, but for the most part the steps are jumping around and seems glitchy.

Also, if I just have the ECLD mapping active, it is not possible to set the start/base position on the pattern screen with SHIFT/OK/ARROW, but this might be as expected?

Hope it makes sense Smile

CV pitch and gate to Midi
Posted by: andisyntz - 05-16-2025, 04:35 PM - Forum: Feature requests - Replies (2)

I have already talked to thomas at the superbooth about this feature, it would be great if there was a function where you could output a classic CV track as midi so that a midi note would be sent with every pitch change. The gates should be output separately as midi CC, or on another midi channel as a note so that you get a clear separation between pitch and gates despite midi. Thanks

  About CBPB1xx
Posted by: OcttisTony - 05-06-2025, 12:55 AM - Forum: Beauty and less important bugs/glitches - Replies (10)

Dear admin, I found a problem when using CBPB's clock FX. For some reason, it will not sync with the master clock after division or multiplication. I set a step of 00-12. I have calculated that the total number of steps should be 64 steps after they are affected by the clock FX, but in fact it is shorter than 64 steps, between 63 and 64 steps. Of course, I can use track sync to force it to sync, but the effect is not what I want to happen at all. I have used different master clock settings, external or internal, and have also excluded the influence of odd clocks. I wonder if this is a defect? How can I do it according to my understanding? For this I upload photos of my sequence, thanks for your help.
p.s In steps 00-12, the total should be a perfect 64 steps.

  Regarding the use of autogate
Posted by: OcttisTony - 05-05-2025, 03:29 AM - Forum: General Questions - Replies (3)

Regarding the use of autogate, if I turn on auto gate and I want to fill in the trigger or gate I want to use in a certain step, this trig or gate will seem to be muted, but it is actually delayed. Why is that? How to solve it? I have tried all the minimum and maximum values for the autogate time out and the trigger delay of the track setting, nothing helps, I am really frustrated.
I uploaded the video for you see. Thank you.

[FIXED] DualChord Patch BASE NOTE / KILL NOTE bug
Posted by: lightsinthedeerhead - 05-02-2025, 03:58 PM - Forum: Beauty and less important bugs/glitches - Replies (3)

NerdSEQ: Firmware V2.02A
DualChord: Firmware V1.2
3 NSA Expanders: NSA1 More Triggers, NSA2 CV16, NSA3 Dual Chord
1 2HP Midi Expander

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open new project and assign the DualChord expander to a track w/TRACK ASSIGN
2. Create new pattern on DualChord track
3. Create new patch 00 on row 00 and set various mix values for sine, triangle, pulse, and saw waves 1, 2, 3, 4
4. Add some notes to row 00 so you can hear the DualChord and hit Play.
5. Create a new patch 01 on row 08 and set various mix values again for sine, triangle, pulse, and saw waves 1, 2, 3, 4
6. At some point, you may hear the DualChord stop playback.  If not, repeat step 5 with a new patch until you hear the sound start/stop.
7. When you're hearing the start/stop, scroll down to the last page of the patch where the stop is happening and you'll see values added to BASE NOTE and KILL NOTE that you didn't add.  If you manually delete those values, the sound comes back as expected.

The bug is those BASE NOTE + KILL NOTE values intermittently being added to existing DualChord patches as new patches are created and modified.

In my tests, sometimes the BASE NOTE + KILL NOTE gets added right as I start editing patch 01, but other times I'm able to repeat the process through patch 03 or 04 before it happens.

Here's a video of it happening.  If needed, I can make another video showing the same end result.  https://youtu.be/5pFS8g5AXvY

  RN0-X of FX values
Posted by: OcttisTony - 05-01-2025, 04:44 AM - Forum: Feature requests - No Replies

Now we can index the note number after FFF in CV1-6. Can we also add RN0-x random range in the available FX values like the note column to match the note column? If this function can be added, it will feel more unified when used.  Smile
