Is there a way (or has this already been requested), to shape the envelopes similar to many envelope generators by Intellijel, Xaoc and Mutable, to where you can shape the attack and release from logarithmic to linear to exponential?  This would be super helpful, and it's the one thing I miss in the NerdSeq envelopes that I get with dedicated generators.  I pretty much use exponential curves in every patch.

The only other thing is whether we can scale the overall envelope scale, rather than just setting the attack voltage, so that you can quiet the envelope.  Looks like I can accomplish this with Automators?  Forgive me, I'm still just learning.  This might be an obvious question.  Is this the preferred method?  

Lastly, OMG, this thing is mind-blowingly feature-rich and makes music happen so quickly.  Just wanted to say thank you for putting this into the world.  I am in awe.

It would be great if, when editing a MIDI pattern and the cursor was on the PC, the message would be sent as it is when an OK is pressed on a note.

I though I might record some notes from one track into another track to capture some of the semi random melodies i've been generating. I am able to record gates via cv input but not notes. Occasionally one note or two notes get recorded into the track but mostly nothing is being recorded. I wonder if it's a bug or if I'm doing something wrong. 

I have a pattern on track one that i'm also sending via an automator slot and an envelope to the cv inputs configured live record to CV 3 and GATE 3.

Would it be possible to connect a midi device (e.g. Expert Sleepers FH2) directly to the MIDI Expander port on the Nerdseq in the back. I.e. without the MIDI Expander itself in between?

I know you can play live with usb keyboard, but could you also record it? I tried few options, but came to conclusion that you can only record via CV or MIDI?

I'm so used playing with "keyboard keyboard", sometimes it would be faster to just hit record and tap the notes down in time. 

Or even enable USB keyboard playing to act as virtual midi device so you could achieve everything you can do with regular midi keyboard sans velocity?

with the new features to be able to send a gate out on a cv16 channel were limited to only 3 channel polyphony. It would be nice if the there was an option for the cv16 channel to work similar to the midi and have 4 cv outs along with 4 gates to allow for 4 channel polyphony with things like the doepfer quad modules.

   

So here is my current test rig for the Nerdseq, but will probably hold it in this LC and run patches to my performance rack instead of putting 60HP worth of sequencer like I first envisioned. 

Still getting used to it and finding my way around, but it feels so great to work again on trackers!
