FX column values persist after FX deletion

I noticed in the track overview that values from FX commands persist after I’ve deleted them from the pattern. It’s easy enough to go and reset them in the overview screen and I believe there is a nerd menu command that resets all FX. Is it possible to implement code that automatically resets the FX after deletion? This would stream line the work flow.

Random octave changes

I really like the Melodic Probability device in Ableton (except for the fact that my notes become invisible whenever I close shop and come back to the project). In it, you can dial in a percentage for octave changes for a given note. I find it can add some life to a sequence, while also maintaining some melodic structure. Is there any way to do this in NERDSEQ? I’m mostly interested in doing this on MIDI tracks at present, sequencing some hardware synths, but also would be good to know how to do on modular tracks as well.

random jump to specific destinations

Random Jump is so nice ! and very important in my music.
I need a random jump like the FX "SPFX 00C" that randomly jump to specific destinations that i have chosen in the pattern .
style 1 :
---------
the FX jump randomly according to the "row highlight amount"
If the "row highlight amount" is 4 random jump should go to step 1 or 5 or 9 or 13 or 17 and so on...( I'm talking in decimal here )
If the "row highlight amount" is 3 random jump should go to step 1 or 4 or 7 or 10 and so on
Style 2 :
---------
The FX is "jump to destination A" and i put a second FX that is "destination A" everywhere in the pattern where I want the jump could land. Of course you can have a "jump to destination B" and more.
Why all this ?
1/ because it's very musical. In a drum pattern you should jump from beat to beat or half bar or quarter bar etc...
2/ because it's a way to preserve the swing/groove if a swing have been set different from 6/6/6/6/6.
In the groove column if you set somthing like 5/7/5/7/5/7... if you jump really randomly you broke the swing it's not musical anymore and at the end the length of the pattern is changed, you lost the synchronisation with the other patterns.
My groove pattern is 7/5/6/7/5/6/7/5/6/7/5/6 and "row highlight amount" is 3 . If I put a random jump on step 3, I need to arrive on step 1 or 4 or 7 or 10.
Thank you for your patience and fantastic work.

Sample subfolders management

1/ It will be really nice that the nerdesq could manage subfolder when loading sample from the SDcard .
SD cards are so big (16Go) we can put a lot of samples on it, cool, but it's not practical to scroll thrue a thousands of samples up and down to build a sample set.
2 / why the sample (wave files in my case) are not sort by type and name when they appears in screen "sample slots / load sample" . I just don't understand how they are sorted.

Quarter note triplets

Hello all,
Still wrapping my head around the NerdSEQ, but I an absolutely in love with it. I've been sequencing some of my favorite 8-bit era video game tunes for practice and ran into some quarter note triplets.
I have nosed around in the manual and through the videos I could find, but still don't understand how to sequence quarter note triplets. I assume it has to do with the Groove column, but I am struggling working out what the column should look like, and if it is possible to do while maintaining the 4 bar (64 step) pattern length.
I appreciate any advice or guidance you more experienced noodlers might be able to share.
Thanks!

Chaining Tables strange behaviour

Hi!
Testing this with 1.24 RC11.
I have a table (00) that effectively plays a note sequence relative to the note the table is attached to (by means of values in the Transpose column and adding triggers where notes shall start). All fine. Now I want to extend the note sequence by the content of table 01 (another note sequence) and thus on step 0F of my table add FX TABLE 0000. So far all is fine.
I then move the cursor on the "0000" and press SHIFT+RIGHT and the value changes to "0001" as expected, though table 01 wasn't automatically chained or called.
Now starts the weirdness:
Pressing SHIFT+RIGHT again "moves" me into editing table 01 as if I had pressed TABLE+DOWN. There is no table 02 and I tried that to see how the parameter would change. Similar with SHIFT+UP and SHIFT+DOWN.
Pressing SHIFT+LEFT to change it back to 0000 doesn't work either.
Under some circumstances just pressing LEFT when on the value (0001 in that case) also moved me into editing 01.
The only way to get rid of the 0001 is moving onto TABLE and changing that into some other function. When I return to table it is TABLE 0000 again.
The pattern was playing while I did all of the above. Tables 00 and 01 are in >ONCE mode
Is this a bug or am I doing something silly?
Kind regards,
Michael
