  Static recording mode.
Posted by: Ohmrun - 08-19-2020, 05:16 AM - Forum: General Questions - Replies (22)

Hi.

I'd like to know if there is a way to record CV values through the inputs, but without the sequencer scrolling. I would like to be able to use an offset generator to enter precise values step by step into a sequencer, but without it being in read mode in addition to recording mode. Is it possible ?

best regards.

  Gate length in time division

Hi

Would it be possible to set the Gate/trigger length in time division (1/4 1/8 1/16 1/32 1/64) and not only in ms.

Thanks

Option Sample Track to Midi Track
Posted by: Cedre - 08-17-2020, 11:34 AM - Forum: Feature requests - Replies (3)

Hi

A lot of people in the nerdseq community don't use the sample tracks.

Would it be possible to add an option to choose between sample or midi track for the last 2 track
Even simple midi track with just note and gate.

Thanks

  Send 1 volt by CV
Posted by: mcfrsvn - 08-17-2020, 11:22 AM - Forum: General Questions - Replies (2)

Hello, I'm sure it's simple but it is possible to send 1, 2, 3, 4 or more Volt by CV. I know that you can use MOD but I don't understand the Value equivalent.
Best regards

Converted midi expander to 1U tile
Posted by: shield - 08-13-2020, 07:05 AM - Forum: NerdSEQ Expanders - Replies (19)

Hi,

I always found that the midi expander uses too much space. I recently moved my nerdseq into an intellijel palette case and ran out of space. However, I noticed that the case is deep enough to fit the midi expander below nerdseq.

I made a small 1U cover with 2 stereo 3.5mm jacks that are soldered to the expander. I guess the pictures are explaining everything but let me know in case you have any questions!

  Converting CV to Midi
Posted by: analogbrainsurgeon - 08-07-2020, 07:14 AM - Forum: NerdSEQ Expanders - Replies (2)

Hello! I've checked the manual and read the forum but I haven't been able to figure out if it's possible to convert CV/gate inputs to midi outputs. In my specific case I want to use the bitbox2 to multisample midi synths, but the full size bitbox2 doesn't have midi out, instead it multisamples by sending cv and gate signals. Can I input those cv/gate signals and have them converted to midi notes with nerdseq? Have a great vacation Smile

  Polyphonic midi step input
Posted by: geetee - 08-05-2020, 01:18 PM - Forum: General Questions - No Replies

Just got a keystep i wanted to use with my nerdseq to input midi notes polyphonically per step

this however seems not possible with the nerdseq, unless i'm missing something.

i play a chord, it only adds the root note. so it's only possible to record more than one note simultaneously in live recording, and not per step when the sequencer is stopped.

did a search through the forum and skimmed through the manual, i couldn't find any information on this.

is this even possible or could this be feature implemented in a future firmware update?

  My current “tracker case”
Posted by: mvdirty - 08-05-2020, 02:27 AM - Forum: Your Setup - No Replies

I knew even before I ordered the NerdSEQ that I wanted it out front and more horizontal for better usability, and thought it might be nice to build up a little themed case with voices and some VCA/mixing that I can break away from the rest of my setup, not least to help me zoom in and learn the NerdSEQ in depth during the coming months.

Behold my “tracker case,” which has actually been together for a couple or few weeks now but which was waiting on the Zlob modules until just a few days back. Finally got those racked up and tested over the weekend.

Live Inputs / Pass to CV Bug
Posted by: Terekki - 07-29-2020, 02:40 PM - Forum: Beauty and less important bugs/glitches - Replies (1)

Getting random noise/fluctuations to CVs that I pass to any on the CV channels from any of the Live inputs. Dunno if this is a hardware or software issue - but it prevents me from passing (and recording) an external cv sequence through the Nerdseq.

I have tried this on all 4 Inputs with both a voltage supplied to each input and with nothing plugged in - get this random percussive noise.
