Hey Thomas,
Enjoying a lot the last firmware. I'm using the sweet sixteen over I2C. A small issue I have is the attack/decay parameters of the envelops : it affects the time in an exponential way. I get it's a very good way to have a lot of precision for times of a few ms, while being able to reach very high times when adjusting the value directly in the UI. However, it's far less usable when using a fader to adjust the value.
My workaround for now is to divide the fader value and add a constant, to have a better precision. Would it be an option to add a more linear parameter? Or to add "ln" in the calc functions, but I guess even using an approximation it would be CPU intensive?

[NO BUG] CV inputs overload?

I've run into this issue a few times where I'm sending triggers into the CV inputs to step-trigger a table or mult trigs to several trig outputs using the automators (or now using the new and excellent mapping screen!) but i've found that after a little while it stops working.
example: I was preparing a live-set for a gig this week with 4 trigs from trigger 16 track (trigs 1-4) going into the cv inputs and sending two duplicates of each trig out T16 trigs 9-16 So that i could trigger O_C voices and also Percall.
Everything was working fine for sometime until I stop to go get a drink and from the kitchen I hear a burst of kick drums (sequencer is stopped at this point) in the other room.
I don't know if this is a bug or miss-use or hardware problem.. CV inputs seem to come back online with a new project. But I tend to just move on with other ideas and assume that i've done something bad. But this has a happened a few times now. Sorry I didn't report this earlier.

Can I record the midi from a whole song in Ableton into Nerdseq?

I know Nerdseq can record MIDI in. Is it possible to record an entire set/song in Ableton, one track at a time, into the Nerdseq to essentially "transfer" the MIDI?
I'm looking into a portable hybrid setup for performance using the Nerdseq as the brain. One way to do this would be to trigger MIDI in Nerdseq and process in Ableton, maybe muting Ableton tracks with a midi controller as a way to move from one song to another. Another option would potentially be to play the songs from the Nerdseq and process in a Raspberry PI running Renoise.
In both cases, ideally I'd have all the songs programmed in Nerdseq instead of triggering pre-recorded clips in a DAW. But I would like to avoid programming existing tracks one note at a time into the Nerdseq.
Is it possible to do this?

RND Keep with random range?

If pattern type is set to 'RND Keep' & pattern sequence is using random range, is there a way to 'lock' or repeat the random notes played on subsequent repeats of the pattern?
I'd like the pattern to play random notes initially, but keep these notes if the pattern is repeated again during sequence playback.
I'd expect that stopping then starting again all playback would choose a different set of random notes on the first pattern play, but then keep those notes if the pattern is repeated.
Thanks!

Random range with scales?

How does random range work with scales? If I set a random range, will only notes within the scale be triggered? Is it possible to use a different scale per pattern on the same track?
I’m trying to work around not having tables available on MIDI tracks which would also allow note selection.

Someway to interpolate values for any range. Basically set one row to 00, another row to FF, select the range, go into Nerd menu and click interpolate values, and the NerdSeq would fill in the values between 00 and FF evenly between the selected rows.
