please make [BACKUP] last entry in Load Menu
Posted by: banjodan - 08-08-2022, 04:19 PM - Forum: Feature requests - Replies (2)

I'd only ever need to use [BACKUP] in the rare case that something has gone wrong, so I'd rather see my other projects listed before [BACKUP] in the Load Menu.

Music CV recording w/ gate from Tuesday
Posted by: rastoboy - 08-05-2022, 02:43 AM - Forum: General Questions - Replies (2)

Hi,

I'm able to record CV from TINRS Tuesday no problem using the CV-only recording mode, but when I try to switch to getting CV + Gate I don't get anything.  Any ideas why it would work in one mode but not another?

I've tried it with different delays on the gate setting, and with internal clock and external clock with the same results.  Here's a short video showing it working, and then not working.  Any input as to what I'm doing wrong would be greatly appreciated!

  Trigger 16 trigger values
Posted by: theotteryears - 08-04-2022, 01:07 PM - Forum: General Questions - Replies (1)

Hi,

Just downloading the new firmware now - but does the Trigger 16 now have the updated trigger options, eg. the Ex ratchets (ratcheting x 2) etc?

Where is the random range screen located? The manual says it exists but I don't know where to find it.

CV16 LFOs should be able to be clocked relative to current BPM
Posted by: mgd - 08-02-2022, 10:08 AM - Forum: Feature requests - No Replies

Hi !

The automator LFOs from the NerdSEQ main module have clock sources like Tick and Pattern as well as the corresponding multiplier and divider versions thereof (TCK-MUL, TCK-DIV, STP-MUL and STP-DIV).

I would like to see these options added to the CV16 LFOs as well such that they can be synch'd to current clock/speed.

Not sure if adding the clock source STP-SLT to the CV16 LFOs is possible at all, but if so that would be neat too Smile

Kind regards,
Michael

  LFO speed on CV16
Posted by: mgd - 07-31-2022, 08:47 AM - Forum: General Questions - Replies (1)

Hi!

I'm experimenting with the LFOs on the CV16. I know how to set speed, amplitude and type and route them to whatever output I want. So far so good. However I have not found a way to synch the CV16 LFOs to the current clock/speed of the NerdSEQ as can be done with the LFOs from the NerdSEQ main module automator section.

I suspect this is (currently) not possible?

If it isn't, then would it technically be possible to implement that?
I'd be happy to write up an according feature request Smile

What I want is create a couple of modulation CVs that ideally follow the speed of the song. Something like a deluxe ochd LFO module. Save that pattern and load it into new songs.

Kind regards,
Michael

  More Trigger FX3 ignore probability

Would it be possible to have FX column 3 in More Trigger tracks ignore row probabilities the way they’re ignored in FX4 in modular tracks?

[solved] 2HP MIDI expander no output?
Posted by: low_rise - 07-25-2022, 09:06 PM - Forum: NerdSEQ Expanders - Replies (3)

Hi folks!

I've got a 2HP MIDI expander and until now I used it only to input/record notes via MIDI keyboard which works fine.
Recently I tried to set it up to trigger drums/samples in my Bitbox micro but wasn't successful. There seems to be no MIDI output at all.

I'm using the latest FW 1.26.
On boot the expander seems to be detected.
MIDI in works.
The first strange behaviour I encountered was that in the Track Assign menu I could assign tracks only to MIDI channel 1, no matter if I tried it on MODULAR or SAMPLE tracks. (The screenshot in the manual suggests otherwise)

I also tried every possible cable/adapter combination (simple stereo mini jack cable and TRS A and B adapters on both ends of a known-good MIDI cable) plus another hardware synth with MIDI in to completely rule out the Bitbox.
Both, the synth and the Bitbox happily receive MIDI from other devices.

Did I maybe miss an option setting up the NerdSeq? Or could my expander be faulty?

Cheers,
low_rise
