I know you can already randomise a single value via the nerd menu, but it would be great if you could randomly populate a whole pattern using a button combo. This kind of randomisation is extremely powerful as a compositional tool. If it could also be constrained in various ways that would be useful. This also relies on there being scale-quantisation at pattern level (a feature which I hope is near the top of the to do list).

Help: Global Swing not working for me?

Hi all,
First post and new owner, so excuse me if I'm asking an obvious question..
I downloaded and flashed version 1.25 and was excited to implement the Global Swing. However, I must be doing something wrong, because it doesn't seem to be swinging.
On the Project Screen, I've set Swing to various positive and negative values and then started the sequence, but the pattern ticks forward straight, without a swing.
Am I missing something? Are their further settings on the FX column I'll need to set? Help a fellow nerd out and thanks!

Just something I'm using outside of the Nerdseq...
the ability to have an event happen on only the first playthrough of the loop, and skipping every time after that. could be added to the pattern commands?
this is useful for resets, one off events which you don't want to happen every time the pattern loops.

the new launch mode function

Hi,
I just need some clarification on the below part of the new firmware..
added launch mode function. beside the regular launch possibilities there is now an additional synchronizing to queuepoints/zero cross launchmode (Setup -> Pattern Launch Type)
unfortunately I had to sell my Nerdseq a little while ago to raise some funds, but I miss it and want to buy it again. this added feature was something I wanted last year and now I just want to make sure it works as I am hoping, before I spend some money on the sequencer again.
if I set my queue point to 56 (I like to work in 7/4 or 7/8) then with the new mode, all patterns will start on the next queue point and all begin from their STEP 1 at the same time?
I can't test this out myself, nor can I buy one and return it so I'm hoping someone can answer this for me.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Don't force going to 0 upon retriggering of envelope

It is my understanding that the envelopes in the CV16 always start at 0 when being retriggered. That can result in clicking sounds. I would like to either change that behaviour or at least have the option to make the envelopes behave more "analog" in that the attack just starts at the value it is at the time of being (re-)triggered.
