Shading empty patterns

This is a great feature I have seen in another trackers. So maybe it could be added for the Nerdseq.
It's simply shaded patterns as darker colors when no notes are present in the pattern. It helps a lot visually to understand the song structure.

Format description of NerdSEQ project file?

Hi!
I'm not sure this actually qualifies as Feature request or if it is better placed under General questions...
I'd like to see something like the headerfile er-102.h as published by Orthogonal Devices which contains the C structure definitions as well as symbolic constants for various values that are required to understand the binary snapshots as created by the ER-102 for the NerdSEQ.
That would enable interested users with programming skills to do all sorts of interesting things with saved patterns and project files:
- copy patterns from one project to another
- import/export pattern data into/from other software like sequencer or note engraving software
- create text representation of the binary project data for proofreading and error hunting
- all sorts of (external) import functionality for various settings
The intention is to enhance interoperability between the various tools I'm using. While the NerdSEQ is impressively smooth to use directly, some stuff is better/easier done on a PC. Currently all data transfer from one to the other works by reentering all data involved on both sides. And I also have to keep them in sync by hand which inevitably will lead to errors.
Am I the only one that would like to do something like that?
Kind regards,
Michael

Track 3 Stops Arbitrarily

Track 3 stops and I'm not sure why. I have a few direct clock divide and multiply FX as well as some random jump FX sprinkled throughout the track, but all of a sudden it just stops, my other tracks keep playing.
Is there an FX that makes it stop somewhere and I just can't see it?
Thanks in advance.

So the scroll view is super useful to record in steps as you input, but since it only shows the "middle" row of a given page of patterns, it means that it can't record into the top-most and bottom-most steps. It would be nice if it could display "dummy rows" before and after (just gray lines would work) just to show the scroll of the full pattern.

Using the NerdSeq with another Sequencer

Proud owner of a new NerdSeq and really loving it, I just had some simple questions:
Can it accept program changes (I want to use it with a Vector for scene and part changes)
I see that it can send changes (Would that be done via midi?)
And then one more that I know there’s just something small that I’m missing
How do I change the velocity or pitch on a retrig say on a snare from low to high or to make like a dropped ball effect where it starts slow then speeds up.
Cheers and thanks!

Function to Pause and Continue a table

Hi!
I can stop a running table with '**'. This is fine for tables having their SOURCE set to INT.Tick or even INT.Time
However for tables with SOURCE PTN-SFX I see use cases where it might be desirable to just Pause a table and then continue at a later time w/o touching the position pointer. I suggest '==' for Pause and '++' for Continue.
Kind regards,
Michael
