hello all!
i am still getting my head around programming the NerdSeq but am loving the beauty of the design. super fun even with my limited skill set.
question - in the manual when it says Note Scale it is referring to constraining CV outs to semitones no? there is no way yet to set a pattern to C Major or D Minor and only have the notes in that scale available?
isssss that coming soon? because YES PLEASE.
thanks to Thomas for the amazing sequencer!

HELL
O
My name is Yea Lace and I'm all in happy narnia with Nerdseq. So much so that after updating my setup over this Thanksgiving weekend I made a mini album sequenced entirely in Nerdseq using Midi channels and trigger expander...
I'm really excited to share it, even though its CHEESE TASTIC (which I didnt anticipate...I wanted to try a bit for RDJ album vibes kinda...)
its called UR rom PLUR, kinda because I use Integra 7 so much on it... also
Iwant to find some way to thank Thomas and Xor for his AMAZING work on the firmware updates, it TOTALLY blows my mind just how hard hes been working on this and how brilliantly well its designed as many of you probably know full well, dont know how but I will figure that out soon..
Also am going to try to continue this to "finish" the album over the upcoming holiday... I got some time off so that means I got some time ON nerdseq,
All sounds are either Integra 7, Blofeld, x0x heart, Plonk, Assimil8or (which was basically decreed by the heavens to be a perfect companion to Nseq More Triggers...) through Mimeophon, Tapographic Delay and Audio Damage Spectre...Recorded strait to sound forge with a Really Nice Compressor on the drum bus for some songs... I say "100% sequenced" bc thats true but I do record these in live takes where I physically am tweaking effects and using Softwire Synthesis Octal Switch to live rout some triggers to stuff like x0x heart and Plonk....
alright

Anyway, I hope you enjoy , not sure if this is the best place to post this, I will check back in here around Jan 2/3 to hopefully post more
now,
BLESS U
YES U!
Peace/PLUR
+ Peace to my nephew marcus...

| Mute FX column |

One thing I like about modular is to keep adding things without stopping the sequences. What often happens in the nerdseq is that browsing through the fx commands while the sequence is running, something undesired happens, like jumping to a different pattern or set the bpm to 1. I think it would be nice to avoid this, maybe by muting the fx column? Could be with the same key combo as muting a track in the sequencer. So if the cursor is in an fx column and the combo is pressed, it mutes the fx column

What's your favorite way of creating controlled random / generative patches?
Mine is this:
Create an 8 or 16 (or whatever) sequence with a brk at the end in fx1 column
Now copy this over to the other rows and make some slight variations.
Put fx1 probability in fx2 column, causing the brk to be skipped sometimes.
Now sometimes only the first 8 notes are played, sometimes the first 16 etc etc. Got very satisfying results like this.

Hi again,
When changing patches on the first step of a sequence, the change in CV happens on step 2... (for example - i'm sending out CV out of MOD1 to transpose Metropolis sequencer)
I therefore have to put the patch change on the last step of the sequence for it to happen on step 1. is this correct behaviour?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Are you able to get different clock divisions on each track of the expander or do all 16 outputs use the same track clock division? Can i set the clock divider for the expander track to *6?
I was hoping to use this as the hub to clock all of my other sequencers from.
