| Pattern Navigation Hotkey |

It occurred to me that it would be quite nice to be able to hold the pattern key and navigate between patterns with the directional buttons. How I envision this would be to have the cursor jump to the next nearest unique pattern in the desired direction when on the sequencer screen or, when on a pattern screen, being able to quickly switch to different patterns' screens similarly in accordance with their layout in the sequence.

I have a bunch of different sequencers including a NerdSeq clocked by Pamela. I always try to wire up a master reset button so that (when, not if) sequencers get out of sync I can pull everything back to hit on the “1”.
At times the NerdSeq doesn’t seem to reset all that cleanly. Steps will be a bit ahead or behind the other sequencers. I can’t figure out what’s going on. Maybe it’s looking at the wrong edge of the reset pulse? Is there any way to configure things about the reset input, like rising vs falling edge activation or threshold level? I am clocking Nerdy at 24ppqn, maybe something to do with that?
Luckily I don’t have to use the master reset all that often but it would be nice for it to be solid when I do need it...

that let's us...
1) Jump to a random ODD row in the same pattern (01, 03, 05...0F )
2) Jump to a random EVEN row in the same pattern (00, 02, 04...0E)
this would be super handy.

I was playing with 4 tracks just now. A single row of patterns. Track 1 and 2 both had probability FX for trigger and CV. Track 3 did not.
The problem appeared on track 4 which I think at some stage I had playing a pattern in use by either track 1 or 2 but now had deleted that and started a new pattern with a note on every step (16 steps). I was getting random trigger and CV as if I had FX set. Not all notes are playing. I can see the random firing on the screen so it's not anything further down in the physical patch.
I tried further brand new patterns on track 4 and got the same after adding some steps. I reloaded the project and still got it. I assume I saved it after this started happening.
No tables or patches in use. I just installed the new v1.18 C tonight before starting to play.
I can't see this behaviour being reported before. Let me know if I might have set something or missed something I haven't looked at. I'm very new to Nerdseq. Thanks.

First of all I must thank you for building this wonderful sequencer, it has been a great help and enables me to program big live shows with my modular, something that hasen't been possible for me before nerdseq existed. When performing I can now focus on sculpting the sound and mixing much more than before.
However I am frequently reaching the sequencers limits in the number of pattern that can be stored in one project. I wish I could globally automate more variables. The way I currently work is that channel 1 automates bpm and changes values like effects and the mix externally. The other channels are used for actual musical patterns. In specific parts of the project I would like to globally shorten all patterns. I currently can't think of any way to do this. I wish there was a special command in SPFX that would break all currently playing patterns (like a global BRK 000). With that my workflow would be radically improved, this would save many hours and countless frustrating headaches in which I have to set up the same pattern 10 times in different length and do this over and over again.
Thank you so much.

Would something like this be possible? Say you BRK off a 19 step pattern the first 7 rows have note values the next 12 are empty (no note value) and you Mark the 19 steps. Then have a Nerd option that would takes the number of rows with note values in the marked area and space them as evenly as possible across the total number of rows in the marked area. So in this example it would be a 19 step pattern with 7 triggers.
right now I use an ios app to generate the patterns then fill them in manually...works fine, but I thought; it would be cool to do with Nerd button.
