  Stop clock command
Posted by: theotteryears - 02-25-2019, 06:42 PM - Forum: Feature requests - Replies (6)

I don't think this is a function already, but I would like an FX command which will stop the main clock coming out of the clock output. (and one to start it too).

  Sample rates?

Im loading my own samples in WAV 16bit 44.1 format yet they sound like they are badly stretched when  I preview them in the sample browser? What am I doing wrong?

  Clock Divide/Multiply - best approach?
Posted by: audiodog - 02-22-2019, 08:33 PM - Forum: General Questions - Replies (2)

Hi All

I know that clock divide / multiply isn't implemented yet. I also know that I can use groove to divide/multiply. I just wanted to know, from more experienced users than me, is the groove option the only way to achieve divide / multiply or have you worked out other ways to handle this? It seems a little cumbersome to have to apply groove changes to every step and I thought their might be a better way?

Thx

Brian

  Enhancing TABLES a little bit
Posted by: theotteryears - 02-20-2019, 11:22 PM - Forum: Feature requests - Replies (1)

Instead of the value field in the table FX command choosing the table.... could it be changed so that it sets a range from which it randomly chooses a table to play?

So eg, TABL 004 would choose between tables 1 to 4 each time it passes by the table command in the table column.

Otherwise the function as it is now is duplicated in the table column right?

  *SOLVED* Tables are creating flams
Posted by: theotteryears - 02-20-2019, 08:28 PM - Forum: Beauty and less important bugs/glitches - Replies (9)

Attached is my save file.

If you just connect up TRIG 3 out to a very fast envelope, opening a VCA with an OSC through it - you should hear sometimes that the table flams when I tell the table to stop playing.

I guess the timing of table OFF and a new trigger from the TRIG column at the same time is slightly out.

If you listen to the file for about 30 seconds you should hear what I mean occurring sometimes.

Hope this is clear!

Thanks,
Chris

  LFO reset
Posted by: depaffect - 02-20-2019, 09:50 AM - Forum: General Questions - Replies (5)

Is there anyway to make the LFO reset on a note-on?

I've also tried using the ASL1 101 command on each note in the pattern under "FX 1" (my LFO is in automator slot 1) but it doesn't seem to do anything

Sorry ignore this thread. I got the above to work (it was on slot ZERO!) , and now I've realised it's more powerful to manually assign an LFO reset as per ASLx101.

  Envelopes?
Posted by: captainhooke - 02-20-2019, 09:38 AM - Forum: Feature requests - Replies (3)

I see the option in the Automation section, and that you are still working on it. Will this mean you can get an envelope on every trigger out of the MOD channels?

This would we wild and could save me using a lot of envelopes from other parts of my system.

  switching mod output -5/+5 -> 0/+10
Posted by: codydjango - 02-20-2019, 02:32 AM - Forum: General Questions - Replies (3)

Seems like this is possible but haven't been able to successfully figure it out. Read through the updated manual and didn't see anything, unless I'm misunderstanding how the FX can work...

The documentation says that the 12 CV outputs can be either "Range -5 Volt /+5 Volt or 0 Volt / +10 Volt" so to me that seems to indicate a switch somewhere...

Steps:
- 0/+10 signal patched into input 1
- setup record to record input 1 to mod 1
- monitor output of mod 1
- signal is now -5/+5
