FX and FX list improvements

Hi!
I find it a bit tiresome to have to scroll through a list of FX that I know I will never use and therefore I have a suggestion that would improve speed and user experience heaps!
Could we please have the ability to tick on/off the FX we want to have present in the list?
PTCH [x]
GL C [0]
MOD [0]
GLMS [x]
...
I would go as far as have the same choice for the number of FX column we could have in the pattern view (I haven't gone beyond using just one FX and having the choice to show just 1 or more FX columns would be great IMO that would allow fast access to the groove column which I use quite a lot but a bit of a pain to access)
Thanks for considering this

Not even sure if this is possible but I wanted to see if there was any way I could get arps made in tables play nicely with CV glide. Currently when glide kicks in the value stops at the current pitch and slides down without any more transposing.

*NO BUG* Step 00 CC value ignored on START

I have NerdSeq's midi out running into my Kenton Pro Solo MK3 (sequencing TB-303). In this example, I have CC#1 set up on Step 00 to send a value to trigger the filter accent on my synth. For whatever reason, if the accent trigger is set on the first step, nothing happens, but after the pattern finishes, Step 00's value works as expected on every following loop and new pattern. If I STOP, step 1's value will be ignored again.

But one problem:
I am getting stuck gates all the time from MIDI. After sending full stop signal it will trigger the first gate and then it's stuck again.
The only way to solve it is to reboot. I have had this issue with previous firmware but it was solved in 1.19. Now it's back again in 1.20
Hey, oh that is not good.
The Midi implementation changed completely with the V1.20 and was tested quite a time. However there have been 2 reports of that but i asked for more information but never got any more feedback and it was impossible for me to reproduce it. I used several sources and tried to let it fail but it always worked well for me.
However, it seems to be there and maybe you can tell me some information about it.
What hardware do you use, how did you set up and can you reproduce it/how do you reproduce it?
Hi, I am using Digitakt as a little keyboard and to program simple beats / melodies into the modular as part of my workflow. So the Digitakt sends clock and midi notes / triggers to the 6 cv/gate tracks.
I don’t know if you remember me, but I had this issue before and you were testing with the Digitone, (which I also have), and you did a quick update which totally fixed the issue.
In terms of recreating it, it will happen within 5 minutes every time of having the Nerdseq on and working (which would involve a few times stopping and starting the sequencer).
What happens is the gate gets stuck open, sending full stop turns the gate off. But after that, starting the sequencer it will be stuck open on the first gate received every time. I hope this helps. Apart from this issue everything else is looking really promising!
Happy New Year!
Ah ok i see. I remember i bought the digitone just for that (and rarely use it now, because i don't have time ).
I am sure the issue is a different one now. The main midi input changed completely from fixed to flexible, from monophonic to polyphonic notes. And i checked for the last issue already when implementing and again when i tried to reproduce.
I will copy this now to the bug reports and lets continue there. I will sent my questions there to hopefully be able to fix it soon!
It seems to be reproducable for you with the Digitone.
Is it possible to export a project from it (or dump so i can import?) so i can use it and repeat what you do (best would be if i would play start and at some point it would always fail)?
I also would like to have your NerdSEQ project and with both it will hopefully also fail with me so i can fix it!

"Bad" input recording

I'd like to hear the flaws in my input recordings sometimes, rather than have them quantized.
For example, if I'm recording snare triggers over a basic drum pattern- when I record, I'd like a setting (per Pattern, or at least per Project) to quantize my input either more or less. With less quantization, I could manually add swing, or simply keep my imperfect rhythm to "humanize" the drums.
My suggestion is:
Represent this human input variation in the Trigger column with TR XX. This could then be extended into gates via TR FE lines for as long as the input is held.
The only difficulty I imagine in this scenario is that there doesn't seem to be a way to represent "off time" Gate Offs. However, since rhythm patches are most commonly Trigger-based, I think this is mostly a moot point, and the functionality could add a ton of "feel" to rhythm patterns.
This level of input recording could also make it incredibly easy to record grooves. Got a sample that has a great hi hat rhythm? Extract triggers/gates to capture that rhythm, and then replay it on the cowbell you just synthesized, via Nerdseq. Got a whoosh that needs to come in at (almost) exactly at 47.2 seconds in your drone, as you played it during rehersal? Nerdseq can play it back just like you had it.
With the Nerdseq engine running at 24ppq, would something like this be possible, or would we need a higher running resolution to catch the nuances?

It's often I want to start from scratch in a pattern and a clear all function in the nerd menu would be great!
Thanks for considering
