Voltages for each note

Hi,
I am using Assimil8or which can trigger a specific sample given a certain voltage range (zones).
I though that would be great to play pitch accurate multi samples.
Is it possible to provide a table of voltages for each note?
I dont have anything to measure voltages at the moment.
Can you help me on this?
Thanks,
Martin

visual distinction for empty patterns in SEQ page

Hi forum, firestARTer,
goal: user can shift-start on a row, and only the patterns in that row will start.
The current behaviour, where an empty slot in a row will be filled by 'the pattern in the nearest, lower-numbered row' is fine, of course.
However, in order to obtain clearly visible, controlled playback of ONLY the active patterns in a given row, it is necessary to add an empty pattern in the tracks you wish to remain silent.
Issue is that using a two-digit code like 00 or 11 for your 'empty' pattern space holder, takes a lot of space, and it's not easy to see which tracks are active and which are silent.
So proposal:
- add a small symbol (little dot, square, x, etc.) to the list of valid pattern names, to represent an empty/null/mute pattern, so that when you shift+start a row, all the columns are full, but it is easy to see which slots are silent. You hear what you see.
This is equivalent to a 'scene' in Ableton Live, where you click on a row, and all the active clips launch, but inactive tracks do not jump up or down in time to grab a clip, they just play silence for that row.
So instead of 00: 12 13 22 45 99 99 24 54 , where 99 is my empty pattern, it looks like
00: 12 13 22 45 * * 24 54 where * or something else small and unobtrusive, is a valid pattern symbol, and it's empty.
I think this removes the need for another mode e.g. "don't jump up", it's just extending the pattern numbers to include more than the 256 values 00-FF. Or if pattern numbers are stored as a chars and you have no more space, maybe overload a pattern that no-one uses, like 68 to become the new symbol.
Thanks, KevinC / minphase

*SOLVED* Deleting marked Trigger column

V1.17 (and most probably all older versions)
Someone pointed me to that if you mark parts of the trigger column, and delete them, then the MOD column is partly overwritten with some values (if it was filled in as well).
Reproduced and will be fixed in the next version.
For now, if you need to delete only trigger values and something is filled next to it in the MOD values, use the normal delete without marking.

Sample amplitude decay FX?

Hi,
Really like having the two sample channels as a bonus - it make these even better would it be possible to add a simple amplitude decay as one of the FXs?
I think this would be super useful when pitching things down but then modifying this FX to shorten the tail of the sample.
Is this possible?
Thanks

Would it be possible to allow the user to choose an alternate color scheme?
When using the on-screen keyboard to name patterns or projects, I find it almost impossible to see which letter is currently highlighted. This may be partly down to my colorblindness. I can only see the red(?) background highlight by moving the selection back and forth so there is some movement to detect.
This got me thinking that it would be extremely helpful to be able to choose from different color schemes.
Furthermore, it would be incredible if we could choose colors for individual patterns on the main sequencer page. This would aid memory and allow similar patterns with non-contiguous hex values to be identified as linked in some way.
Just got my NerdSeq before Xmas (thanks for the 'card"!) I have never used a tracker before but I am loving it so far.
Thanks!

Sampler expander module

I would love to see a more advanced sampler that integrates with Nerdseq as an expander. Not sure if this is possible, but I was thinking if there was a sampler similar to the one in Renoise, that would allow you to do slicing and sample offsets, and as well as the included nerdseq effects, it would be very useful. I know you could do some of these things with other sampler modules, but I just think if it were directly run within Nerdseq, it could be a lot more streamlined, especially for something like triggering slices. Plus, having the ability to have more sample time and higher sample rates and bit depths would be great. A real plus would also be the ability to read slice points from something like reCycle. I don't know if something like this will happen, but I would really like to see it.
